Voiceless Victim

A survivor of clergy child sexual abuse speaks out for those who can't speak for themselves

Lynn sentenced to jail for his crimes. Now, what about the rest of the criminals?

At last.

A church leader has been sentenced to jail for participating in the worldwide catholic church conspiracy to cover up child sex crimes. A conspiracy which has endangered countless millions of children.

And ruined hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of lives.

And directly led to the death by suicide of far, far too many precious kids. Far more than have been murdered by crazed gunmen.

And now, instead of understanding just how appalling their policies of self protection at any cost are in the eyes of any humane person, church officials will throw more millions at their heroic attempts to ignore reality and paint church leaders as the victims of their own crime spree.

Instead of humbly learning the lesson that it is wrong to rape children, to allow them to be raped, to protect those that rape them and give them every opportunity to rape more children, and to deny raped children help, and to lie and to coverup and pervert the course of justice to prevent the widespread rape of children being revealed, catholic church leaders are polishing off their tired old excuses, distractions and lies.

Obsessed prosecutors, anti catholic conspiracies, unduly harsh and cruel punishments, scapegoating, honest mistakes, just doing as he was told, doing the best he can, genuinely trying to help people, decades of good works, the bishop made him do it. Heard them all before.

None of them change the fact that William Lynn knew his predator colleagues would rape and sexually abuse kids and he deliberately kept them out of jail and in positions with privileged and unquestioned access to as many kids as their perversions required.

That is not an innocent man. A misjudged man. Or a man deserving leniency.

That is a man stupendously unfit for a position of respect and responsibility. That is a man guilty of serious crime.

A man just like the many thousands of others in senior church positions the world over.

To a certain extent William Lynn is a scapegoat.

Because they should all be in disgrace. They should all be tried and convicted.

And they should all be facing jail.
